The Abstract WomanShe is a freehand Painting done from acrylic paint. A 12 X 12 piece that was made using dry brush and standard painting techniques. This artwork was finished on October 4, 2023.
XhirThis an artwork that had no inspiration behind it. A 16 x 20 artwork that uses bronze metallic paint for the background with horizontal strokes of the brush when the painting was first painted in landscape. Using a various forms of dry brush, and washes to create a piece that is not afraid to stare you in the face.
Shae in the CloudsA 16 x 20 artwork that was created from the idea of my previous painting Xhir. I wanted to create a lighter version of Xhir, but I didn’t want to stray from the idea of abstraction. They also needed to be female as well. This painting takes that lighter approach. Instead of her pouting at the viewer, she faintly smiles. I made this piece in November of 2023 about a week after Xhir. The painting uses metallic paint of bronze and gold, so the picture never will do it full justice.
