Trill the medical robot character concept turnaround. Trill was created to cure all diseases and be prepared for all medical situations in her highly advanced civilizations.
Started in 2016, finished in April 2018. The initial drawing started as a simple character in a landscape, however was inspired to add additional detail.
This picture is 11 X 14. There was no live reference to this person. It was created in ink on card stock paper. Made in October 2015. Retouched in April 2018.
This was done through stippling which is a series of dots arranged in the manner of forming an image. The project was done through multiple uses of repeating the dashing of oil pastels on an art board. I finished this on November 4, 2017.
This drawing started out in pencil at the airport and as I was on the plane, the drawing changed as you see it now. This was made in May 30, 2013 in a 5 X 12 sketchbook.
Warpaint was made with mostly acrylic paint, but the feather is actually stippling an with ink pen. Dry brush techniques and precision to detail is the key, yet without the people around you to influence you, their would be no drive to move you to create a masterpiece. I know I am still waiting.
The Bone Still Life was made by a setup that was placed in front of the class. Using a viewfinder, I picked a area to draw on mentientes paper that has groves to hold more of the pigment of the pastel. It was made using chalk pastels in 2011.
This logo represents my three main skills, drawing is the pencil, painting is the brush, and digital is the stylus. I wanted to represent all three skills within one logo.
This 30 second animatic short inspired by the story of Moby Dick. The main character is a gangster leader instead of a sea ship captain. He is looking for the criminal "White Whale" to take revenge on killing one of his comrades. .
This is the scene where the girl makes a promise with the blind wolf to help protect the town from the darkness.
